Game Overview

Slide is an audio slide puzzle game that brings the classic sliding tile puzzle to life through sound. Unscramble puzzles of numbers, words, and tones in this accessible version of the traditional sliding puzzle game.

What is Slide?

Slide simulates a slide puzzle - a grid of squares usually 3 by 3 or 4 by 4. In the case of a 4 by 4 grid, there are fifteen squares and one blank space allowing the pieces of the puzzle to slide around. The goal is to take the jumbled up arrangement and rearrange it in the proper order using simple keyboard commands.

Game Modes (Free Version)

• 3 by 3 Grid: Play with 8 numbered squares
• 4 by 4 Grid: Play with 15 numbered squares
• 8 Letter Words: Unscramble words in a 9-square grid

Additional Modes (After Upgrade - $5.00)

• 5 by 5 Grid: Play with 24 numbered squares
• 15 Letter Words: Longer word puzzles in 16-square grid
• 3 by 3 Tones: Arrange 8 ascending musical tones
• 4 by 4 Tones: Arrange 15 ascending musical tones
• 5 by 5 Tones: Arrange 24 ascending musical tones

How to Play

Use arrow keys to navigate around the grid - the current square will be spoken. Hold down the shift key to drag a square in the direction you want. You can only drag squares adjacent to the empty space. The goal is to unscramble the grid so it's in order from top left to bottom right, with the empty square in the bottom right.
